The Dirty Apron is excited to offer classes for kids of all skill levels from age 8 and up! Bring your kids and have the pros teach them fun new skills to gain confidence in the kitchen and try tasty new recipes.

Kid’s Kitchen Fundamentals Series: Fun with Fresh Pasta
Join us for a hands-on cooking adventure where kids come to build kitchen confidence! In this Kitchen Fundamentals–themed class, young cooks will learn essential skills like chopping, mixing, seasoning, and working with dough—all while making a delicious, fresh Italian-inspired meal from scratch.
Menu Highlights:
Fresh Pasta Primavera – Learn to mix, roll, and cut homemade pasta, then toss it with a silky cream sauce.
Roasted Seasonal Vegetables – Master basic knife skills and roasting techniques to bring out the best in colorful veggies.
Lemon Ricotta Cookies – Bake light, fluffy cookies with a zesty twist to finish the day on a sweet note.
This class builds confidence in the kitchen through fun, safe instruction and lots of tasting along the way.

In this deliciously fun class, young chefs will roll up their sleeves and dive into a hearty, home-style menu with Chef Amy that teaches real kitchen skills with big, comforting flavors. With kid-friendly guidance, students will learn how to prep, season, and cook a full meal that’s both impressive and approachable.

Roasted Pork Loin – Learn how to season and roast meat to juicy, golden perfection.

Kid’s Kitchen Fundamentals Series: Breakfast For Dinner Essentials with Chef Amy
Who says breakfast is just for the morning?
In this fun and interactive cooking class, kids will flip the script and whip up a delicious breakfast-for-dinner feast! Young chefs will learn to make classic scrambled eggs, shape and cook flavorful homemade sausage patties, roast golden breakfast potatoes, and mix up warm, fluffy buttermilk drop biscuits from scratch.
Along the way, they’ll practice essential kitchen skills like measuring, mixing, and stovetop safety—all while having a blast turning breakfast favorites into a dinnertime delight.

Join us for this fun and interactive class where we'll be making pâte à choux with Chef Kristen! This classic French pastry dough is the base for so many delicious treats.
In this hands-on class, we will work together to mix, cook, and shape the dough, learning essential techniques to create these light, airy pastries. We will make delightful cream puffs with craquelin topping and yummy eclairs. It’s a perfect opportunity to discover new culinary skills, and enjoy delicious homemade pastries that everyone will love! Suitable for all ages and skill levels. SOLD OUT: Noodles of the World - German Spaetzle Kid’s Class
Join us for Noodles of the World! Get ready for a fun-filled culinary adventure in our Kids' Cooking Class, where we’ll be making spaetzle mac & cheese! This class is perfect for aspiring chefs who want to learn how to create this delicious homemade German pasta. Kids will have a blast mixing the dough, shaping the spaetzle, and using fun tools like a spaetzle maker or colander to drop the dough into boiling water. Once the spaetzle is ready, we'll cook it up and pair it with tasty bratwurst sausage. It's a perfect way for kids to learn new kitchen skills and enjoy a delicious meal they helped create! No prior experience needed—just come hungry for fun and food!

Family Class: Pizza with The Yorks
Join Amy & Geary York for the family version of their ever-popular artisan pizza class! We will learn how to make our own pizza dough and then build a couple of our favorite pizza classics. We will even make a delicious dessert pizza and bake them off in our super cool Gozney pizza oven! Mama Mia!

Family Class: Build Your Own Charcuterie Boards with Chef Amy
Join Chef Amy as she shows us some tips and tricks to building our own charcuterie boards! We will learn make fancy cheeseballs and chocolate covered graham crackers to compliment our snack boards; sure to make them snazzy enough for any New Year celebration!

Join Chef Kristen as we learn to create some fun holiday cookies from across the map! Kristen will show us how to make a Linzer cookie dough that we will turn into a delicious sandwich cookie. We will then create snowballs, a delicate melt-in-your-mouth Russian cookie.

Get in the holiday spirit and let your artistic side shine decorating gingerbread houses! We will learn how to bake a sturdy gingerbread cookie to construct a tiny house as well as the 'glue' also known as royal icing. Enjoy sipping on some Harry Potter Butterbeer and Peppermint hot cocoa.

A seasonal twist on an American classic. Create a delicious cake-like cookie inspired by the flavors of gingerbread and a sandwich with a tangy cream cheese frosting between two cookies.
