Join Chef Shin as he teaches us some of the staples of Japanese cuisine. In this hands-on cooking class, you'll learn the art of making sushi from start to finish. The class begins with building a versatile Dashi - A Japanese soup base packed with umami and used in many different ways in Japanese food. Shin will then give an introduction to essential ingredients such as sushi rice, seaweed (nori), fresh fish, and vegetables as we learn the techniques of basic sushi rolling.
